Great selection great people that work there!! Ive been using the pharmacy their for about 5-6 years with no issue whatsoever. Sometimes they run out of sale items but, very nice to give you a raincheck. I go to this store almost everyday.
This is my regular grocery store. The staff is always courteous and knowledgeable, the store is always clean, and the deals are always HOT :o) The Safeway app is AWESOME! If you ever get a chance to use it, click the bar code in the Search bar at the top, grab an item from your cart or the shelf, hold the bar code of the item up to your phone's camera (getting the item's bar code clearly within the brackets), wait a second for the image to clear up (sometimes you have to move the item closer or farther away for it to autofocus), and then find out if there is a deal on that item instantly. If you have a Safeway Club card and the app is linked to your card/phone number, you can add the item's discount to your club card!!! At check out, don't forget to key in your phone number or swipe your card (either is fine) and as your items are scanned you can watch the savings go back into your budget! DONE and DONE!!!! If you can use Sunoco gas, the savings can REALLY add up! You can check your gas rewards right from the app too! This Summer, while traveling through New England, I used our Gas rewards and saved $0.60/gallon at one fillup. We got more than 10 gallons, so ended up saving at least $6.00 on a single fillup!!!! OH! I almost forgot about the 10% off our grocery bill for every flu shot we got there ($11.00 savings on one trip!). Ok Safeway, you have successfully won my loyalty. Keep up the great job!
Sadly after a 25 year length of time going to Safeway was treated horribly by an employee and will not go back to this store.
Slow! Self checkout clerk went on break without telling anyone. Our machine locked up and we waited forever for help.
Always slow checkouts and you have to be careful because they have lots of expired products on their shelves.
