Well, the online site I used to book didn't let them know I was coming, or they just don't check they're email very often, I showed up and luckily they had a room, but I asked for smoke free and it smelled like smoke. The sheets were kind of dirty and I'm glad I only had to stay for one night... To be honest, for how cheap it was I'd stay again do long as I got a smoke free room.
made reservation for work crew , crew said "room was terrible " so they left and went to Frederick Md , we asked for refund but were refused
The rooms smell horrible and no late check outs. Go somewhere else if you can.
Not very clean and very over priced for what it is. Nice people at desk and helpful. Room smelled like old cigarettes.
Mount Airy has many shopping/eating places. However, it lacks hotels/motels. The Budget Inn is the only one. I unfortunately haven't had the same fate as the people who stay there. However, the stories about bedbugs and poor, unfriendly service is true. I recommend staying either in Frederick or down by Baltimore. I am a bit surprised due to the interstate access that there isn't more places to stay at in town. Hopefully that can become a reality to give travelers more choices then the current eyesore that the Budget Inn has created to the great town of Mount Airy
