I did reply to One Hour with compliments to completing the repair after much trial and error. It was a complicated repair but they did give it everything they have and stuck with it until they succeeded.
Ben Franklin told me I needed more repairs than I actually needed and they were very expensive. I got the hot water tank replaced by another company for a much better price. A lot lower. Ben Franklin's employee was proficient and on time. He simply quoted me the price for replacement off of his charts. Perhaps I should have had more conversation with BF but after the furnace among other tough situations I may not have followed through enough. I know BF is a good company with a good reputation. I sorry we could not accomodate each other.
The tech comes out as soon as he can and take care of any problem. Will not leave till completed and you'r satisfied.
I have great trust in this company. They have had some knurly situations to contend with. Over the years no one has been able to silence the awful noises coming from the radiators. The owner came over to check on the job. He came in wearing a suit and tie and went downstairs to discuss the problem with his crew . He came back up black with soot and dirt. The problem was fixed! He is a very personable man. I would never use another plumbing company.
Great people! Totally trustworthy. They actually steered me away from buying high-end upgrades because it wouldn't be more effective for my home than the mid-level upgrade.
It was a very rain today. I checked my basement to find our sump pump had stopped working threatening to flood the basement. I called Ben Franklin right away, in the hopes they could rectify the situation. They sent a plumber the same day, much to my relief. Unfortunately, the sump pump was so old that it was beyond repair. But the plumber, Ira, explained that I now needed to replace the sump pump with a new one. Throughout the process, he was very efficient, knowledgeable and explained everything well enough to get me to stop panicking about the possibility of a flooded basement. He also helped us with other things in our basement that needed fixing before they fell apart and caused similar panic inducing problems. He made a stress inducing process as least stressful as possible. It has been close to 3 months later, and everything that was done in the basement is working very well and has remained, thankfully, problem free. If I do have a problem in the future (which I hope doesn't happen), I will be calling Ben Franklin again.
